FIRST DEGREE REIKI TRAINING
If you feel called to the path of a reiki (for self healing or offering reiki to others), I would be honored to guide you on this journey. I have been studying energy healing since 2016 and completed my Reiki Master training in 2017. I feel very grateful to be a part of the reiki lineage and excited to be able to share this powerful healing practice with those that wish to learn.
I offer my reiki courses in two parts. The first part is theory only and is held as a live online course. The second part is delivered in person in small groups in the Manchester area.
The theory course will help you to prepare yourself mentally, physically and energetically to take your next steps to heal yourself and others with Reiki.
Please note, all of my offerings and courses are trauma informed.
On completion of this course you will be given a certification in Usui Method of Natural Healing First Degree Reiki. Following the completion of this course you will be able to administer self reiki and offer reiki healing treatments for others.

Course Structure:
This course is delivered in two parts - online theory and in person practical (based in the Manchester area).
Course Content:
An exploration of the chakra system and subtle anatomy
The Gokai - A discussion on the principles of reiki, the challenges we may encounter and how we can apply these principles to daily life
What is reiki and how does it heal?
The history of reiki
Offering reiki treatments to yourself and others- sensations & contraindications
Guided meditation - including grounding techniques, chakra balancing, protection, connecting with guides, angelic energies, ascended masters & Grace
Preparation for attunements & practical course
Reiki first degree attunements
Guided self reiki healing
Preparing to give a reiki treatment to yourself and to others
Ethics of reiki - safe boundaries, consent, payment exchange, scope of practice, practicing non-attachment & taming the ego
Continued self healing and self development through reiki

Certification:
On completion of this course you will be given a certification in Usui Method of Natural Healing First Degree Reiki. Following the completion of this course you will be able to administer self healing and offer Reiki healing treatments for others.
Post Course Requirements:
Following this course you are required to complete self healing daily for a minimum of 21 days. Offer Reiki healing treatments to family and friends (optional).

Preparation For Your Practical Course
Prepare For Your Attunements:
To prepare for your attunements it is important to bring your body and mind into health and harmony. Minimum 3 days prior (ideally 7 days prior)
No alcohol, meat or fish (or recreational drugs)
Reduce caffeine, sugar and smoking
Disconnect from media completely
Disconnect from social media completely
Disconnect from toxic relationships/negativity
Spend time in nature
Let go of anger, hatred, fears and worries
Sit in meditation/contemplation for at least 10 minutes twice daily – you may wish to also write in a journal
Drink plenty of water and eat lots of fruits and vegetables
Enjoy gentle exercise daily such as yoga or walking
Enjoy lots of rest
Give yourself plenty of time before and after each day of the course to integrate everything that has been shared and experienced
It is important that you do not drink any caffeine prior to the attunements. The Reiki attunement will naturally detoxify the physical body and mind and can create sensations similar to those with a Reiki treatment.

To ensure you are mentally prepared for your practical course here is your pre-course homework:
Re-read your manual
Practice grounding, clearing and protecting your energy daily
Write your answers to the following questions:
How will you explain reiki healing to a new client?
How will you prepare yourself to give a reiki healing treatment (physically, emotionally, mentally & energetically)?
What is your procedure prior to channeling reiki?
What is your procedure for closing a reiki treatment?
What post healing information will you give to a client after their treatment?
What are the contraindications for offering reiki?
Please bring these answers with you to the practical course
Please note, this is not a test! All the answers for these questions are in your manual. These questions are simply an opportunity for you to revise and prepare yourself for giving reiki treatments to yourself and others.
