I think a lot about why I do this type of work. As a former nurse, I have always felt a pull to support others. Nursing feels like a lifetime ago now though, because I have been teaching yoga, reiki, retreats and offering life coaching for much longer than I was a nurse.
Some of my nursing skills are embedded within me. Whichever modality I am working with, I spend time assessing, observing, and often asking myself "what does this person need?".
I often take these enquiries a step further and I ask myself, "what does our community need?". Recently, I asked myself this question and here is where I landed...
Every year I witness so many people feeling overwhelmed and becoming unwell in December. I listen to people's stresses and I deeply appreciate the challenges they encounter throughout the festive season.
I know through personal experience that it doesn't need to be this way. So, I have created a new event and I am excited to share it with those that wish to join me.
Developing Your December Self Care Tool Kit
30th November 10am-1pm
We will share a calming morning of self care and healing practices. This event will include group coaching and journaling - we will explore your needs, your hopes and your boundaries ahead of the festive season. We will also enjoy gentle yoga, calming breath work and sound healing.
This will be a safe, trauma-informed space to connect and explore. To ensure this is possible, places will be limited.
